About Tradisi Halaqah
Tradisi Halaqah is an Islamic learning centre under Badan Agama dan Pelajaran Radin Mas (BAPA), dedicated to providing traditional Islamic education for adults. Rooted in the classical approach to Islamic scholarship, Tradisi Halaqah focuses on the study of traditional Islamic texts and scriptures, fostering a deeper understanding of faith, spirituality, and Islamic jurisprudence. Inspired by the time-honoured tradition of Halaqah (study circles), this programme offers a structured and immersive learning experience, allowing students to engage with the works of renowned scholars through guided lessons and discussions. Tradisi Halaqah also emphasises studying the religion with a sanad (authenticated chain of transmission), ensuring the integrity and authenticity of knowledge passed down through generations. Additionally, the programme regularly hosts international scholars for short courses in collaboration with partner religious organisations, bringing diverse and enriched perspectives to students.
