What is Wakaf?
Definition: Under Singapore law (AMLA 1966), it is a permanent dedication of movable or immovable property by a Muslim for pious, religious, or charitable purposes.
Sadaqah Jariyah
It is a part of Ongoing Charity
Transfer of Ownership
Once dedicated, ownership of the assets is transferred to Allah s.w.t.
Permanence
The assets are held in perpetuity and cannot be sold, given away, or inherited by anyone.
