Zakat Harta

Purify your wealth with your Zakat

“… when Zakat was prescribed, Allah made it a means of purifying one’s wealth.” [Bukhari]

Lend your support on the path towards Allah.

Your Zakat helps to develop and uplift the Muslim community as a whole. Individually, Zakat serves to nourish your soul and purify it from undesirable habits and characteristics such as miserliness.

BAPA channels your zakat to the needy and towards efforts for the betterment of the community. This includes our financial assistance beneficiaries, our social outreach efforts, the students and programmes of Madrasah Tahfiz SURM, Islamic classes and programmes for the masses, and more.

Our initiatives could not have taken place without your support. Fulfill your Zakat with BAPA today!

Ramadan Fidyah

Perform your fidyah through our food campaigns

Fidyah payments can only be channelled towards feeding the poor and needy, through providing them with cooked meals or dry food.

At BAPA, our asatizahs are available to assist you with any enquiries and/or calculations that you may require to fulfill your fidyah obligations. Your fidyah is then directly distributed to registered asnaf, or beneficiaries, in the form of quality, nutritious meals during our regular food distributions.

Walk in to our office to enquire about fidyah, or simply make your payment online!

#projekkasimakan

Spreading Kindness, One Meal at a Time

Started in 2016, #ProjekKasiMakan celebrates our 7th year of distributing meals to those in need.

1) Tajaan Buka Puasa

It may surprise most that there are many in Singapore who are in need of cooked food, especially in the month of Ramadan. Tajaan Buka Puasa aims to alleviate their difficulties by providing delicious quality meals delivered straight to their homes to break their fasts with.

Our cooked meals cater to the palate of our beneficiaries while maintaining a Healthier Choice standard. From the kitchen to the doorstep, we ensure that freshness is maintained, the food arrives punctually, and our beneficiaries are able to enjoy a hot meal after a day of fasting.

2) Tajaan Juadah Raya

In the spirit of celebrating Eid, Tajaan Juadah Raya provides festive meals and food hampers to selected lower income families in Singapore. The dishes are delivered frozen on the Eve of Hari Raya to be enjoyed the next morning, and the hamper contains grocery items for the family.

“He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbor goes hungry.” [Sahih Al-Albani]

Bring happiness to their tables with your contribution!

Tin Can Project

Charity begins with you.

Pioneered by BAPA in 2018, the Tin Can Project aims to inculcate the act of giving charity as a daily practice – and how better to begin than from the comfort of your home!

Contributions from your tin can will be channelled to the full-time Madrasah Tahfiz Sekolah Ugama Radin Mas (SURM) as well as BAPA’s educational and social outreach efforts. Establish a consistent giving routine with your very own tin can, and get your family and friends involved too.

No act of charity is too little. Choose to give from what you have in this blessed month!

*We make giving even more easy for you with home delivery/collection services of the tin cans!

GIRO

The best deeds are those done consistently.

“…the most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even if it were little.” [Bukhari]

With GIRO, you can practise istiqamah in making donations by simply scheduling them to be deducted every month. All you need to do is make the intention and fill in the authorised form!

Let us know you’re interested, and we’ll send you the physical authorised registration form!
