Korban untuk Tahfiz 2025

Korban, Aqiqah and Nazar with BAPA.

There is no act by the sons of Adam on Eidul Adha that is more pleasing to Allah then by the outpouring of blood (the slaughter of the sacrificial animal). Verily the sacrificial animal will come on the day of judgement with its horn, hooves and skin and Allah will grant the blessings of the Qurban even before the blood of the animal reaches the ground. Therefore, make good your Qurban.”

[At-Tirmidhi]

When you perform your Korban with BAPA

You fulfil a sacred ibadah and honour the sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

You uplift communities in need, from war-torn regions to remote villages—spreading joy and dignity in the spirit of Eid.

You support local da’wah efforts, including the operations of Singapore’s only full-time Tahfiz institution—Sekolah Ugama Radin Mas.

Your Korban doesn’t just nourish bodies—it nurtures hearts, sustains religious education,

and fuels year-round efforts in spreading knowledge and compassion.

By choosing BAPA, you’re not only making a global impact,

but you’re also investing in the spiritual future of our local community.

FAQ

  • The last day to place your Korban order is 2 June 2025. Please ensure full payment is made before this date to confirm your participation.

  • Full payment allows BAPA to immediately secure livestock and coordinate logistics with our overseas partners. This ensures a smooth, timely, and proper Korban execution in accordance with Islamic principles.

  • Unfortunately, no. As stated in our Terms & Conditions, we have a strict no-refund policy. Once payment is received, funds are immediately committed to partners and vendors to prepare for your Korban.

  • Unless otherwise stated, we will strive to provide photographic evidence and updates with regards to your Korban rites. However, please note that certain countries may have restrictions or limitations that prevent us from doing so.

These may include unforeseen issues such as local government restrictions, weather conditions, or on-ground safety and logistical constraints.

If you are unsure or would like clarification on a specific country’s status regarding photo availability, please call us directly. Rest assured, all Korban will be carried out with amanah (trust) and in full accordance with Islamic guidelines, even if photo evidence is not possible.

  • In the rare event of a verifiable mistake made by BAPA or our partners, we will conduct a full internal investigation. If confirmed, we will bear full responsibility and arrange a replacement Korban at no cost to you in the following year.

  • The country you choose is where your Korban will be administered. However, for Africa, please note that we operate across multiple countries and areas within the region. In this case, the Korban rites will be distributed accordingly based on each individual country’s needs and demand.

While we aim to fulfil preferences where possible, all Korban are conducted where the impact is most meaningful and where our partners are best equipped to carry them out effectively.

  • You will receive an official confirmation after Eid that includes general updates from our Korban campaign. If photo evidence is available, it will be included. Regardless of photos, we uphold strict internal monitoring and partner verification to ensure every Korban is properly carried out.

  • The beneficiaries are communities in need overseas, and proceeds from the campaign also support the only full-time Tahfiz Madrasah in Singapore, operated by BAPA. Your Korban supports both global relief and local religious education.

  • The Korban will be performed after Eid prayers on the 10th of Zulhijjah. However, due to time zone differences, the exact timing may not align with local time. It is recommended to allow a one-day grace period to ensure the Korban is completed.

It is Sunnah to refrain from cutting hair and nails from the 1st of Zulhijjah until the Korban is performed. However, this is not obligatory, and not adhering to it does not invalidate your Korban.

  • Both are significant Islamic rites. Korban is performed during the Hajj period, specifically on the 10th of Zulhijjah, as an act of worship and remembrance. Aqiqah is performed upon the birth of a child, typically involving the sacrifice of one or two sheep, as a form of gratitude.

  • Korban Nazar refers to a vowed sacrifice. If someone makes a vow to perform Korban, it becomes obligatory upon them to fulfill it. In such cases, the person who made the vow (Sahibul Korban) is prohibited from consuming any part of the meat.

  • It is Sunnah for the Korban meat to be divided into three equal parts: one-third for the person performing the Korban,

one-third for relatives and friends, and one-third for the poor and needy. However, this distribution is recommended and not obligatory.

  • There are differing opinions among Islamic scholars:

    • Mazhab Shafie: Permissible if the deceased had instructed it during their lifetime.

    • Mazhab Hanafi and Hanbali: Generally permissible.

    • Mazhab Maliki: Considered makruh (discouraged).

Regardless, you can always offer the rewards of the Korban to the deceased, and many scholars agree on this practice.

  • Yes, there is no prohibition in the Quran or Hadith against sharing Korban meat with non-Muslims. Islam encourages kindness and generosity towards all.
